Yesterday a good friend (Nikki) told me about this photographer named Shannon McCollum. McCollum spoke at a seminar last night held at The University of West GA. He is indeed an ATLien and has shot artists such as Erykah Badu, Dead Prez, Andrew Young, Coretta Scott King, Goodie Mob, Pastor Troy, and of course, Outkast. He also works very closely to John Legend, touring with him regularly. Here are some of his pictures below and please peep the video. Very inspiring. People like him are one of the reasons I still love home.

All Around the World

Yesterday, my friend Adrian came into town last night. Sucks he was only here for one night. But I was happy he invited me to dinner. He suggested going to a Thai restaurant, Tamarind Seed, and I'm a virgin to Thai food so I gave it a try. Plus, I'm trying to broaden my food horizons because I definitely only eat chicken all the time. Anywho, the food was pretty good. The setting was nice. The waiter was kinda weird lol, but overall it was a nice experience.

Bruce Leeroy! Lmao. The Last Dragon was sooo funny. Woo! Had a good time watching it and got my lil' free drink. Ray was being a lowkey groupie and Kalyn was sleep and missed all the funny moments. The movie was shown at the Midtown Arts Cinema and will be showing different oldies every other Friday of the month. The next show will be Coming to America. Can't wait.

Sky High//Black Ice

GA weather is ridic! I mean seriously it's been all four seasons in ONE week! I can't take it anymore. Now it's snowing?! Wth?! Gimme a break! This is the reason I'm always sick, this foolishness right here. I love my hometown but jeez, cut us some slack on the forecast!
