Benz or a Beamer

Definitely too flashy for my taste, but definitely worth the weight in gold.

Peace Out Medusa!

Be the reincarnation of Biggie Smalls in these vintage ver-sah-chay shades. Hopefully Diddy won't come out and take your shine.

Back For the First Time

So after lots of revamping and deciding if I would (or could) even blog anymore, I am finally back. Did you miss me? Lol. It's ok if you didn't. Hmm.. So much has happened since June (which was my last post) but that's another chapter. If you are an old reader, thanks for revisiting. New readers, hello to you too! I'm not exactly sure what all will be coming up but I do plan to change a few things around. Btw, do you like the new look? And yes I know this visual has nothing to do with the post, I just like it. =)

Lovin' Kovin

Lauren Kovin S/S 09

Transformations, avant garde, and fluid pieces is what makes up this collection by New York designer Lauren Kovin. The beautiful gathered, kimono sleeves become architectural designs with ghostly cascades of drapery while still having a dreamlike appeal.

Hey Young World

Not trying to bash Alife, but I'm not a huge fan. I only like their cut and sewn tees because they are 100% organic cotton and Stalley is featured in the ad. His beard makes me smile.

My two personal favs: Molly Sims in Dolce & Gabanna and Tom Binns jewels and Rihanna also in in a Dolce & Gabanna tux. She knows how to hold her weight like the big guys.

Lose Some Weight: Turbo

I'm not one who's heavily into makeup, but this TurboLash mascara by Estee Lauder is that ish! It's a vibrating mascara with a thickening and lengthening formula. (And I am probably late to finding this out). Basically, I have extremely short eyelashes. I swear they're almost nonexistant. I usually use Maybelline for my mascara of choice, but I used TurboLash for prom and it felt like I had falsies on. So if you have eyelashes like mine, I highly recommend this.

However, if you're on a budget and want something similar at a friendlier price, Maybelline will be releasing Pulse Perfection in July. But log on to Target, WalMart, Walgreens or CVS May 18 for an exclusive online preview sale (one day only).

I love June Ambrose! Her effortless style is amazing. Here she's wearing blue oxford by PINK, Hermes belt, Helmet Lang boyfriend jeans, Gaultier trench, Stella sneaker boot, and a Balenciaga nylon & leather bag. Need I say more?

OMG, I'm so in love with this collection. Aussie native Kym Ellery "felt like there was a small gap in the market for well made, fashion-forward clothing. Clothing that came out of a label that created its own trends yet refreshed its image each season– as we see in many of the international design houses”. Well I'm glad she felt that way because this collection is a complete package of all the trends for a S/S collection. Click here for the rest of the runway pieces.
