(Ok, well really the entire nation..) I'm pretty sure we all overlooked the dropping of Q-Tip's third solo album, The Renaissance. We all know him for the legendary rap group, A Tribe Called Quest, and his jazz infested rhymes. On this CD, he collaborated with Norah Jones, Amanda Diva, and D'Angelo (what crypt did he find him in?!). You can expect to hear real hip-hop on this album of course mixed in with mellow beats and geunine raps. I guess yesterday was just an overall wonderful day. Authentic hip-hop CD's dropping, black president running the country...what more could you ask for?
